Softest Naan Bread

Keeme ke Naan

This is the softest Naan you will ever try. You can try these Naan bread with any masala filling (potato filling, chicken masala filling or minced meat masala mix). You could even just make plain naan without filling and enjoy this with any delicious curry. I have tried all versions with this Naan bread recipe and it was always a huge success. Lets get right to the recipe:

Ingredients for bread:
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp dry yeast (7g)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup + 2 tbsp lukewarm water

  1. In a bowl mix together the first three dry ingredients flour, salt, baking powder.
  2. Then add sugar and yeast and sprinkle the oil into it.
  3. Gradually add the lukewarm water into the mixture and start kneading. Knead it for atleast 3-5 mins to make sure all ingredients are nicely mixed into the dough.
  4. Cover the dough and the bowl with some oil and cover the bowl with a cloth. Let the dough sit for atleast 2 hours.
  5. AFTER 2 HOURS
  6. Divide the dough into 5 equal portions.

  7. Roll out (like a small thick chappati) and add the masala mixture into the center. Close the edges carefully and again roll it out.
  8.  Make some holes with your fingers and sprinkle some coriander or any seeds on top.
  9. Bake the Naan bread in a preheated oven at 230°C for 15-20mins.
  10. Add some butter on the baked naan and serve hot!

Enjoy!
